Hangzhou Sunshine Gas has specialized expertise in the making of PSA oxygen generators. PSA process is used process for producing oxygen for industrial use. Adsorption is the process by which molecules, compounds, elements, ions, atoms from gases or liquids get stuck to a surface. A flimsy layer of the adsorbate is deposited on the surface.
This technique takes the ambient air comprising of 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, 0.9% argon and numerous other gases. In the PSA plant, the air is passed through a synthetic Zeolite Molecular Sieve where nitrogen gets adsorbed. With N2 getting deposited in the pore system of the Zeolite, the process delivers O2 as a product gas.
PSA machinery and equipment is made up of two vessels containing Zeolite Molecular Sieve which is used as adsorbers. When the air is being moved through one of these vessels, nitrogen is adsorbed in the molecular sieve allowing oxygen to pass through and is collected as a products gas.
